Regards That's correct... announced here - all active accelerator effects were nullified, as part of the update.

Regards That's correct... announced here - all active accelerator effects were nullified, as part of the update. tbh it doesn't seem like that . skill that was training before downtime is still being trained at accelerated rate. so don't touch the skill queue ;) I saw that over the last few days, while I was pausing training and then activating a new booster. I think the time estimate is a minor display bug with the skill queue, the countdown calculating once when the queue is set, separate from the underlying SP rate. I have a feeling actual skill train time is going to be longer than it shows ;)

A wonderful bug happened to me. I want this feature!
I had just logged in, was deposited in jump range of a gate. After a few minutes sitting there, I clicked to jump through the gate. The screen froze for 3-5 seconds... and then neatly un-froze in the new system. No transitional gate jump animation. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL.
Thank you to Brain in a Box - Team Gridlock for the hard work over the past couple years, that may see an end to the need for a gate-jump animation! |

The original purpose of Siphons was to provide individuals a means to disrupt passive isk generation, and the API not passing on info about the decline in moongoo harvesting was a good part of the package. I believe this change is a quality of life boon to moon farmers who monitor the API, favoring them over less-connected players who will only discover siphons when they visit their POS. To balance the have's and have-nots of the API world, I think CCP should take one step further, and provide a one-time in-game Notification, similar to a POS under attack, when a siphon is in operation. |
